Optical Effects by Bubble Vision

We were approached Bubble Vision of North West London to produce some high resolution film positives for the Oil Wheel Cassettes that they make for projectors. Basically, by rotating the image wheels over each other, and projecting the effect onto a screen, some amazing lighting effects can be achieved with their system.

So that the powerful projector lamp can enlarge the animated image up to the desired sizes, this technique requires an ultra high definition image, a crystal clear film and completely dense solid black. All of which are characteristics of our film positives.

As you can see from these short video clips, the results were quite mesmerising. Very Pink Floyd.
