Pudsey Set

We were asked to produce eight giant cutout headless Pudsey Bears this November. We supplied these durable CAD cut black Amari Foam prints to use on the set of the live Children in Need show broadcast by the BBC.

We also made the eight boxes out of lightweight Foam-X that were used to hide the celebrities faces.

The Fixer - window decals

It was good to see some of our window decals being used to freshen up a shop featured on the BBC show "Alex Polizzi - The Fixer" last night. Our good friends at Planarama were asked to advise and assist in the refit of an old family run shop in East Ham. We like to think our window vinyl decals helped the overall effect.

An Appearance on Strictly

Some of our work made an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend. It was spotted by our avid strictly viewer Antony, who spotted his handy-work.
We were supplied the pages of lyrics handwritten by Mika, which we blew up to a massive size and printed onto a substrate that our customer provided - a thick cartridge paper that could be "scrunched up" and scattered around the stage.
The overall effect was excellent.

As seen on TV

Fame at last...
A BBC documentary last night about satirical map making, dedicated a large portion of the program to a certain 1877 "Octopus Map" by Fred W Rose.
We see the skilled art of the printers as they ink the plates and wind the presses.
But what we don't see is the equally skilled staff at Hexio scanning and enhancing the faded original and manually painting the spot colours in Photoshop so that we can create the high definition litho film positives to supply them to Artichoke for their plates.
