CAD Cut Leather

This was something we couldn"t have done a year ago. We were asked to laminate adhesive onto the back of a 15m roll of faux leather, and then cut it to shape on our Summa cutter.

This would not have been possible on our old drag knife cutter, but our new tangential cutter breezed through the thick material with no problem at all.

Frank Kiely Exhibition

[caption id="attachment_640" align="alignright" width="400"] Film positives, ready for Frank Kiely to work his magic.[/caption]

We would like to wish the artist Frank Kiely every success with his new exhibition starting in January 2017 at the James Joyce Centre in Dublin.

Frank was inspired by the James Joyce autobiographical novel "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man" when creating his set of screen prints for the exhibition. We were asked to produce the fine, tight registered films that he needed to create his stencils for these prints.

If you"re in Dublin next year, it would definitely be worth a visit.

Turquoise Window Decals

Turquoise window decalA travel agent in Wandsworth regularly requires different window vinyls. So we supply eye catching decals consisting of high resolution photos and illustrations printed and CAD cut ready or installation on the back of the glass (with the adhesive on the printed side of the vinyl).

We"re very pleased with the end results... until the next time they want a window refresh.

Another Spinal Tap homage

We were asked to produce some more oversized amplifier fascias for a TV production being filmed this weekend. Printed on our Latex inkjet printer directly onto brushed gold vinyl, it looks very effective.

As always, when asked to create an artwork like this, I can never resist making sure that all the volume controls go up to eleven.

Well, it"s one louder isn"t it.

Casio Window Display

Covent Garden"s Casio store approach us to transform their window display for Christmas.

An interesting combination of frosted etch window vinyl, metallic foil vinyl, print and reverse cut vinyl, and CAD cut to shape printed black Amari board created this stunning effect.
