Wall Vinyl & Backlits for Mixed Bag Photographers

We were asked to print a large wall vinyl and some backlit prints to help set the scene at the Magic Gallery in Charing Cross Underground Arcade a few weeks ago.

The exhibition, titled "Remembrance of Things Passed", was organised by Mixed Bag, a group of photographers who collaborate on various projects and exhibitions. They are currently preparing to present the show again from the 16th to 20th May. So we wish them good luck.

Backlit print for a pinball table

We get some interesting jobs. Here we were asked to produce a high quality print for a lightbox on a bespoke pinball machine.
Our solutions was a vivid latex print onto a backlit film. It was displayed in Somerset House and the BFI in April 2016.

Nice to see some more of our handywork on TV this weekend. This time it was the graphics on the fake photo booth used in Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Take Away. Our contribution consisted of a small self adhesive print and a large backlit print for the lightbox (although I notice in the video clip that it wasn't illuminated).
It's not much, but it all goes towards our 15 minutes of fame.

Staring role in X Factor

We all marvelled this weekend as we watched the finals of the X Factor 2012. The singing was an fun distraction, but I'm sure you were more interested, as I was, in the stunning stage set. A massive Ghetto Blaster complete with illuminated dials and working equaliser for the star (Christopher Maloney) to emerge from as the large cassette door opened.
Mr Maloney may have only came 3rd in the competition, but the set design was always going to be a winner in our eyes. The effect was achieved using a combination of our backlit prints, photographic images on foam board and cut lettering in a brushed aluminium effect vinyl.
