Flight Case Branding

https://hexio.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/AbsoluteCasing-ManchesterCityFC.jpg
A regular job we get is to produce the branding for the bespoke flight cases that are made by Absolute Casing. This often involves printing and cutting to shape crests and logos for football clubs and sports organisations.

We have also laminated all over prints onto their pre-cut plywood sections, to give a full wrapped image effect when the finished case is assembled.

Symantec Decals

https://hexio.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Symantec-Decals-4.jpg
Fairly straight forward this one, multi coloured decals applied to glass for an event staged by the software company Symantec.

They only had the room for a short period, so the installation schedule was very tight. In fact they were only in place for two hours, before being peeled off again.

Such a shame, I thought they looked really good.

Doisy & Dam Trade Show Stand

Our friends at Doisy and Dam asked us if we could produce self adhesive decals suitable for applying to plywood and rough OSB shutter board.

They wanted to create an eye-catching stand at the 2017 Lunch Show at Excel, to promote their range of delicious organic chocolates.

We suggested using our Supertack vinyl which was printed and CAD cut to shape, we also offered to feed the sheets of board through our heated laminator. This gave a lovely effect because the vinyl conformed to the texture of the board.

Unfortunately, no chocolate samples were forthcoming on this occasion. Maybe next time.

Ultra Sunrise, by It"s Kind Of Hard To Explain & MILK

https://hexio.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/ultrasunrise.jpg
We are proud to support a new group of artists called "It"s Kind Of Hard To Explain" who are putting together a new event at SET studios in Bermondsey, titled Ultra Sunrise, starting this Friday 7th July.

Artists featuring in the show are Corey Bartle-Sanderson, Oliver Durcan, Jemma Egan, Justin Fitzpatrick, Steven Gee, Adam Goodwin, Jane Hayes Greenwood, Max Lee, Jack Otway, Alice Rout, Joe Shaw and Sam Venables. With artists from Liverpool, London, Newcastle and Rotterdam, this project marks IKO’s ethos to connect non-London and London based artists.

The name Ultra Sunrise comes from a Monster energy drink flavour suggesting a modification or enhancement of a natural and uncontrollable occurrence. Work in the show will respond to this concept alongside ideas exploring instant gratification and quick fixes to modern problems.

Pictures will follow shortly.

Casio Window Display

Covent Garden"s Casio store approach us to transform their window display for Christmas.

An interesting combination of frosted etch window vinyl, metallic foil vinyl, print and reverse cut vinyl, and CAD cut to shape printed black Amari board created this stunning effect.

Decals that go the distance

Possibly one of our most travelled jobs this one...
Earlier in the year we were asked by the TV studio Boundless Productions to produce a set of vehicle decals to adorn the 4x4 of Dara O'Briain and Ed Byrne.
You can currently see them on the BBC series "Dara and Ed's Great Big Adventure", and follow their epic journey as they travel along one of the world’s greatest roads, the Pan American Highway.

British Museum Gift Shops

When the British Museum wanted to theme their gift shop windows for an Anglo Saxon and Egyptian event, we were happy to supply sets of oversized print and cut window decals. The end results were very impressive.

World War Z

It was nice to play a small part in the production of the recent blockbuster epic "World War Z" - and I mean a very small part.
Two years ago, we were asked by a runner from "High Command Productions" to quickly produce a set of "Waste Managment" livery with American phone numbers, that could be applied to some refuse trucks at a film shoot that was happening at an empty tower block in nearby Elephant & Castle. All we knew at the time was that the film starred Brad Pitt. That film turned out to be the epic "World War Z".
It's nice to see that when film producers scour the globe for the most depressing image of a post-apocalyptic world, they end up at our very own Elephant & Castle.

Ted Baker Xmas

Eye catching window decals were required to compliment Ted Bakers Christmas window display this year. Produced as a print-and-cut job, the colours had to really "pop" to give the effect of a neon sign.
