Symantec Decals

https://hexio.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Symantec-Decals-4.jpg
Fairly straight forward this one, multi coloured decals applied to glass for an event staged by the software company Symantec.

They only had the room for a short period, so the installation schedule was very tight. In fact they were only in place for two hours, before being peeled off again.

Such a shame, I thought they looked really good.

Colouring In Car

This was a fun job for SeTwo, their challenge was to transform one of Hertz cars into a "colouring in car" for a live experience and promo shoot.  They turned the black interior into a colouring in book, using dry erase markers the car could be coloured in again and again.

We supplied them with sheets of CAD cut vinyl decals that they could apply to the whole interior of a Volvo estate car. The catch was, it had to be easily removable after the photo shoot as they only had the car for a couple of days and Hertz wanted it back undamaged so that it could re-enter their fleet of hire vehicles.

The vinyl we used for these decals was a matt black intended for use on banners. This would ensure that the detailed drawings would stick well, while being flexible enough to stretch and deform when the seats were climbed on by the children.

Turquoise Window Decals

Turquoise window decalA travel agent in Wandsworth regularly requires different window vinyls. So we supply eye catching decals consisting of high resolution photos and illustrations printed and CAD cut ready or installation on the back of the glass (with the adhesive on the printed side of the vinyl).

We"re very pleased with the end results... until the next time they want a window refresh.

Decals that go the distance

Possibly one of our most travelled jobs this one...
Earlier in the year we were asked by the TV studio Boundless Productions to produce a set of vehicle decals to adorn the 4x4 of Dara O'Briain and Ed Byrne.
You can currently see them on the BBC series "Dara and Ed's Great Big Adventure", and follow their epic journey as they travel along one of the world’s greatest roads, the Pan American Highway.

World War Z

It was nice to play a small part in the production of the recent blockbuster epic "World War Z" - and I mean a very small part.
Two years ago, we were asked by a runner from "High Command Productions" to quickly produce a set of "Waste Managment" livery with American phone numbers, that could be applied to some refuse trucks at a film shoot that was happening at an empty tower block in nearby Elephant & Castle. All we knew at the time was that the film starred Brad Pitt. That film turned out to be the epic "World War Z".
It's nice to see that when film producers scour the globe for the most depressing image of a post-apocalyptic world, they end up at our very own Elephant & Castle.

Ted Baker Autumn Windows

This differed from previous projects in that the customer wanted the store staff to be able to completely change the backwall imagery halfway through the campaign.
We were able to source some ultra low tack adhesive that we could use on the top lamination meaning it could be peeled off to reveal the second image without damaging it or the Dufaylite board that it was stuck to.
The customer also wanted fluorescent internal decals for the window, something that vinyl suppliers do not produce. So we screenprinted our own vinyl that we could then cut in the normal way.

World Cup Panels - In Dufaylite

For this project, the client wanted strong, rigid panel that would stand up to the stresses of electric motors being fitted for an animated figure. We suggested 18mm Dufaylite, with the edges finished in white.

The decal on the glass was reverse printed on clear, backed with white, then CAD cut, for a seamless finish.
